| 2 | Vehicle in use dose not confirm to the provisions of motor vehicle act and rules then the registration is suspended till the defects are rectified. |
| 3 | Vehicles used for hire or reward without a valid permit ( clandestine operation of passengers). The registration is suspended for a maximum period of four months. |
| 4 | Unauthorised alterations in the vehicle like change of chassis and engine without prior approval |
| 5 | Use of mechanically unfit vehicle in a public place. |
| 6 | Violation of emission norms by a vehicle. |
